This game is good, almost. This game has everything going for it, good arcade gameplay, good graphics, and good music... almost. Sadly this game was a pretty big letdown for me. The combat is as shallow as it gets with you only having 2 attacks. A melee and ranged attack, each controlled by a single button. (Though some items are available that give more options) There’s almost no strategy to the gameplay other than spam the attack button. This really sucks because otherwise the game looks great, the environments and enemies are beautiful. But the core gameplay holds everything back. As well as the game only having 10 LEVELS, yes, this 20 dollar game that was made by the same company that produced Minecraft can be beaten in an afternoon, and if you want more levels, they are each locked behind a paywall. Which I wouldn’t mind dlc for this game at all, but when the base game is already lacking content, paid dlc is unacceptable to me. Despite these issues, this game really isn’t bad, but doesn’t have anything special going for it either. Overall I can really only recommend this game as something to keep your hands busy while you listen to a pod or something, because it honestly does a pretty good job at that lol.
