this game was a great pirate game, probably one of the best made in a long time and people like to defend it because of that but when it comes down to it, yes, it was graphically great for the times, the controls were good and the mechanics interesting. storyline neat for what it was. but what it was and what i rate it as, is a pirate game, not what the previous games were. which were games in the Assassins Creed franchise.

of course, after this they kind of said 'f it all' with the storyline or making any kind of coherent sense with it or being an assassin. so whatever. main point? great pirate game, wanna be a pirate who is begrudgingly an assassin? play it.
