Knowing that there is a game about Hot Wheels excites me. And since I am a massive fan of the racing genre, this made me even more excited. Sadly, the game isn't really that fun.

The amount of Hot Wheels you can play is impressive and you can also ride the cars of famous cartoon characters such as the Jetsons, Scooby Doo, and many more.

The race tracks are the main reason why I just didn't have much fun on this game compared to other racing games. Without barriers on most tracks, you can end up going off track when you fail to take a sharp turn. There are times you can go over a massive ramp and end up going off track cause you missed the chance to turn left or right cause that is where the rest of the track is. It can be frustratingly confusing.

The graphics are simple and colorful and the sound and music are mediocre.

It has community-created maps and that is a plus. Sadly, most of them can be downright unfun and confusing to race on.

All in all, the game is average at best. If you are a massive fan of the Hot Wheels franchise, you are better off playing with the toys or trying this game. If you have Gamepass, give this a try and you might end up liking it or hating it.
