As a fan of the Danganronpa series back when it was released on the PlayStation Vita, I was captivated by its visuals and storyline after I watched the anime series back then. When I saw this game's trailer, I wanted to play it! I never saw a game that would succeed the visuals and style to the Danganronpa games until this. I don't want to spoil a lot for this game, but here is my cramped-up review of the MASTER DETECTIVE ARCHIVES: RAIN CODE for the Nintendo Switch.

The game is a 3D world filled with bright colors and some dark elements. It is like mashing CyberPunk with SteamPunk-esque visuals. The way they handle the visuals is great considering the predecessor was like a flat portrait character model. This is much better considering that the characters are in 3D.

It is like watching an ANIME series. If you do not like to press a button to continue the dialogue, you can always have it in autoplay and you can listen to all the voiceover without reading the text captions.

Sometimes I feel like I got lost due to the fact that I wanted to roam around the vicinity. The game will guide you where is a clue be located for you to collect evidence from the problem at hand. If you get lost in the process, there will be a guide in the menu section.

I would definitely call this game a MUST PLAY. If you are into visual novels, puzzle detective games and anime, then this game is for you.
