Item: Bury Me, My Love
Rating: 7.5
Author: Kenzie

What Bury Me, My Love does well is making you care for and about Noor. She's really funny, headstrong, stubborn, and determined. You see her moments of vulnerability and times when you wish she would just listen to you. Every single decision is a heart-racing move for survival. I felt myself rooting for her, praying she makes it and waiting for her to text back - and that's a huge accomplishment for such a game. If there's one thing to improve, it's possible to have more interaction and complicity in the story, but it really works well as a visual novel already. I've only worked my way to one ending and will have to explore more! The story also opens eyes to the plight of refugees and helps people understand the horrible reality of what is going on today in a respectful manner. If you want to play this game, get it for mobile! The Switch experience isn't the same thing - plus the font is ridiculously small.
