As a free title for PlayStation Plus owners, I can’t recommend Destruction AllStars enough. It’s fantastic fun with vibrant characters and some really fun game modes. If it costs money, it’d be a different story completely, as there’s nowhere near enough balance or content in the game as it stands right now. Stick with this one, I have a feeling it’ll be worth it.
Destruction AllStars can be memorable but it’s not one of those exclusive launch games that would make an impact. I’m afraid that with the content Destruction AllStars has to offer, it will not be enough for players to stay and play for a long time, the game needs more horsepower to convince PS5 owners to buy it after it’s out of PlayStation Plus.
Destruction AllStars delivers delightful carnage and non-stop mayhem, but issues with progression, monetization, and some poorly designed modes hold it back. Hopefully, Lucid Games and Sony will continue to build on this excellent foundation, because Destruction AllStars has the potential to be a special game with a little bit of work.
