Summary
Spintires: MudRunner is the ultimate version of the million-seller indie hit Spintires coming to PC and, for the first time, consoles. Like Spintires before it, Spintires: MudRunner puts you in the driver’s seat and dares you to take charge of incredible all-terrain vehicles, venturing across extreme landscapes with only a map and compass as your guides! A huge upgrade over its predecessor, this edition comes complete with a brand-new Sandbox Map joining alongside the original game's 5 environments, a total graphical overhaul, a new Challenge mode with 9 dedicated maps, 13 new vehicles, and other comprehensive improvements. It’s not just an enhanced edition, it’s the ultimate off-road experience!

Spintires: Mudrunner is a hard-crusted simulation title that makes you earn your fun through hard work and determination. It’s certainly not for everyone with a crawling pace and a muted aesthetic, but the impressive physics and sandbox design make for some great moments, especially if you’re playing with others.
Spintires: MudRunner is an off-roading simulator with serious potential to be a surprise hit for fans of simulators – particularly the Farming Simulator series. It creates a sense of purpose and duty in the job you set out to complete, and you desperately want to complete the task at hand, however, the almost complete lack of instructions on advanced yet core mechanics of the game will definitely be a point of frustration for gamers who have not previously played Spintires.
Providing a reason why driving at a glacial pace through the game’s muddy tracks is so gloriously satisfying is as tricky as trying to explain why another episode of Ice Road Truckers always seems like a good idea. There’s absolutely no doubt that it isn’t perfect, and that more patient players will get more out of this than those with a shorter fuse, but it’s impressive how such a relatively simple concept can provide so many hours of entertainment.
