Kagura and Saaya are schoolgirl sisters raised together by the Vampiric Clan, and rank among their strongest warriors. Aya and Saki are assassin sisters descended from the rival Baneful Bloodline, and represent their lineage with esteem. Now, these four must learn to fight together against an undead army. Brought under one banner known as the “Zombie Punitive Force,” these blood enemies will have to reach a mutual understanding in order to save the world as we know it. And as long as they’re working together, they might as well do it in style.

If you're willing to turn your brain off and take a break from narrative masterpieces like The Last of Us or even more polished action games like God of War 3, then I'd say give Onechanbara Z2: Chaos a try, especially if you're OK with the extreme amount of fan service. Behind those skimpy risque bathing suits lies a pretty fun combat system. You just have to be willing to take a peek.

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is a worthy follow-up to past entries in the hack ‘n’ slash franchise, greatly helped by the bringing together of the two sets of protagonists from previous outings, which allows for a much stronger story full of funny banter. The gameplay is also improved, but the annoying targeting mechanic and tedious gameplay gets old very fast. Showing a level of growth from its predecessors, Onechanbara Z2: Chaos can be fun in spurts, but is a far cry from a great game.

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is certainly unique. There isn’t much like it, both in terms of content and…well other assets. It is great to see the improvements they have made, and they clearly know what the fans of their series want. For better or worse, I mean the physical edition comes packed with a costume I can’t even post a screenshot of, it’s that bad.
