Morphite is an atmospheric exploration sci-fi shooter with platforming elements. It is lovingly inspired by classics – Metroid Prime, Ratchet and Clank, and Turok. Your goal is to explore the galaxy, research plants and animals, battle hostile entities, and unravel a mystery surrounding a rare material called Morphite. Morphite is set to be a deep and enriching single player experience with both a story-driven plot as well as open-ended, player-driven exploration and discovery.

Even with its hodgepodge of tiny planets, the game may have done better to shrink its size to an even greater degree and focus on that which makes up the majority of the experience, away from the silly jokes and entertaining banter of Myrah and Kitcat.
What you end up with is a sci-fi exploration title that is, ultimately, dull. There's barely anything going on in Morphite. Once you’ve beaten the story and upgraded your equipment, there’s very little reason to go back to previous locations, and new ones are too similar to offer any meaningful extended play. Myrah’s adventure may pique the interest of genre die-hards, but the limited scope of the game makes it difficult to recommend.
Morphite is a game with exactly as much depth and complexity as you want there to be. If you’re a completionist, you can explore every corner of every world, scanning and salvaging until you’re rich. If you just want a satisfying story, you can stick to the fifteen planets wherein that story takes place.
