Summary

Thirty years after the events of Killzone 3, the world is a very different place, with two rival factions, the Helghast and the Vektans, living side by side divided by a vast wall. In the midst of it all stands a Shadow Marshal, an elite soldier, the best of the best. As Shadow Marshal Lucas Kellan, you're sworn to protect your home and the values you believe in. Maintaining the fragile peace is difficult when there is no trust between either side.

Killzone: Shadow Fall isn’t the best game for the PS4, but it is the Trophy Wife of the PS4 launch lineup. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and you’ll love to show it to be the envy of all your friends. But beyond the good looks, she’s actually kinda dumb, lacking personality, and can get on your nerves at times. Despite all of this, she’s still worth the price and can make you a very happy man if you know what you’re getting into.

Killzone: Shadow Fall is an interesting one. It’s a game that does nothing innovative or remarkable, but one that is well-paced, enjoyable and has stellar presentation and production values, both visually and from a sound design aspect. You’ll enjoy most of it, but it’s not the killer-app that Sony – or you, for that matter – may have wanted.
