This game can be a zen experience of zoning out and just going about your work in game. But it can just as easily be a drag if the experience doesn’t click with you. It didn’t click with me and I want to be clear with the audience that this game is objectively a title with value for players, regardless of its technical and gameplay issues. But subjectively, this is not a game that resonates with me.
Given land and money, this game tests the players fortitude in how bad they want to create something from nothing. For some, every rewarding moment will be worth the frustrations, but for others, every frustration makes the reward lackluster. Ultimately, it seems that Farming Simulator 19 is realistic to a fault, with a player’s determination tested throughout the game.
Just be prepared to throw out your first farm, while you attempt to figure out all of the intermingling systems at play. Fortunately, if this isn’t your first rodeo, there isn’t enough that’s changed to make this transitional release off-putting. This is a case where more of the same is more than enough, as long as you are okay with self-directed entertainment. Your acreage may vary.
