Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time represents the pinnacle of the Ratchet & Clank series, so All 4 One feels like a step backwards. But the fun multiplayer components and laugh-out-loud story make Ratchet and Clank's latest journey a worthy one, and bring a distinct new experience to the franchise. I loved collecting bolts and solving puzzles with a friend and on my own, even if the visuals and combat aren't quite as sharp as they used to be.

Ratchet & Clank with multiplayer works--mostly. Unfortunately, the emphasis on chaos over control doesn’t always favor fun, which means multiplayer thrill seekers are left with a sometimes unsatisfying experience and Rachet & Clank diehards may want to think about replaying an already released game to get their fix.

The great looking animations are still accompanied by well done voice acting, and environments consistently change for colorful and beautiful aesthetics even though most of the game is spent on planet Magnus. Throughout the 9-10 hour campaign All 4 One continuously delivers tons of fun in many different ways, making it a great game to pick up and play, especially if you’ve been itching to have some friends over to blast your way through waves of maniacal robots.
