Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a masterpiece, lovingly crafted by both teams at Level-5 and Studio Ghibli. It's bursting with so much character, humour, strength, and sorrow that it's impossible to put down. The lively animation and whimsical design is flawless, with memorable characters that will stay with you throughout your entire gaming career.

A love letter to JRPGs of the 90s that still manages to feel modern. This is something both lapsed and current fans of the genre can enjoy. With a unique combat system, a deluge of compelling content still available after the credits roll, fantastic visuals and a charming world, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is definitely worth a look. There aren't many better ways to start the year if you like JRPGs.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is one of the best RPGs I’ve played in years. Moreover, it joins the elusive ranks of the best PlayStation 3 exclusives, a group very rarely encroached upon by any studio Sony doesn’t own. Ni No Kuni is just that good: a beautiful mixture of the traditional makings of a JRPG combined with gorgeous graphics, a wonderful story, a great cast of characters and thoughtful gameplay. Better yet, I truly believe there’s something here even for those that don’t necessarily enjoy random encounters, level grinding and stat building.
