At first glance, NCAA Football 11 doesn't seem like it offers much in the way of new content, which might not make it the best option for fans that want major upgrades to extra modes from year to year. But whether you're participating in an online dynasty and its new Web interface, creating your own team in the excellent TeamBuilder mode carried over from last year, or just experiencing some great changes to the gameplay, there's plenty of content and under-the-hood changes here for the most rabid college football fan to enjoy.

Overall, NCAA 11 is a great game. The solid controls, improved graphics, and the natural feel of the gameplay help make up for the lack of new gametypes, while the Dynasty Online mode engages players in a way unlike any other sports franchise on the market. If you love college ball, or even if you are looking for a good football game to play, then NCAA Football 2011 is definitely worth picking up.

NCAA has its flaws, but with improved on-the-field action, recruiting, and presentation (including the option to generate custom stories on your Dynasty), for the first time in years I feel like I’m getting the college experience. I know what it feels like to be a man among boys when dodging tackles, shrugging off players, and breaking for the end zone. Saturday is no longer just a diversion before the pros take the field on Sunday. It’s a time to build dynasties, crush the competition, and bask in the glow of millions.
