Ibb & Obb is an excellent 2D puzzle-platformer with a unique gravitational mechanic and well-crafted co-op play. What it lacks in a (viable) online option and a separate single-player mode it makes up for with brilliant puzzles, and the variety and difficulty of those puzzles makes the somewhat repetitive level design easy to forgive. It’s a must-have for its great cooperative experience — just make sure you pick a good partner.

Ibb and Obb delights in punishment. Beneath the whimsical exterior lies a devious and clever puzzle game that makes you curse gravity for being so strict. Although optional collectibles are hidden throughout each stage, simply reaching the end should be challenge enough for most people. Even though you're bound to butt heads during the tougher sections, working in tandem with a friend is incredibly satisfying. It's worth putting up with the occasional bouts of frustration to see this adventure through to the end. Ibb and Obb should never be attempted alone, but offers inventive puzzle solving for those who travel with a friend by their side.

Ibb & Obb offers an hour of intriguing ideas but loses steam too quickly. After that time, it will just sit on your hard drive unplayed as something newer and more resonant comes along. It’s a shame because there are some nice ideas here. Unfortunately, they’re just not fleshed out.
