Having not listened to Green Day for a long-time, we found Green Day: Rock Band a nice refresher in the pop-punk superstars back-catalogue. You know, Green Day are a good band, and this package reflects that. There's a lot to it, and hardcore fans will have a lot of fun with the bonus content and songs on offer. But like we said at the top, your enjoyment will very much depend on how much you like Green Day.

As far as value goes, 47 songs for full retail price isn't a great one, but there is more than enough music here to keep Green Day fans rockin' into the wee hours. It goes without saying that Green Day haters should stay away, but those on the fence will find that there is plenty of fun to be had with this solid new entry in the Rock Band lineup.

Aside from a few more venues, there's not much more that I'd want from such a package that isn't present here. And yet, for all the points that I've made here for and against Green Day: Rock Band, it's all pretty ancillary to the fundamental truth that, if you don't like Green Day, and you don't want to play their music in a Rock Band game, you're not going to get a whole lot out of Green Day: Rock Band.
