The sound doesn't fare much better. The lack of voice acting hurts, and the music, which goes for a spooky-cute Tim Burton kind of feel, is repetitive and not memorable. The big bonus, however, is that the original theme song -- the one that goes, "Who ya gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!" -- is included

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime imparts very little of the charm that the franchise is known for. There are no comical voice-overs; instead, little snippets of pop-up text with forced jokes suffice for character interaction. There are no puzzles to break the monotony of combat; the only break stems from the collection of Stay Puft Marshmallow Man dolls scattered throughout most levels.

In a game where you become incapacitated after about two hits, a large chunk of the game is spent waiting for your co-op partners to revive you - and if they get caught in the crossfire, the game will quickly snuff you all out and return you to the previous checkpoint.
