Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
I have never had any interaction with Dragon Ball Z in the past. I've never been big into Anime and almost all of the games are Fighting games which I've never been a fan of. When I heard this was going to be an ARPG and tell the story from the beginning and fully for the most part, I decided to jump in. I'm glad I did. It is a good ARPG with cooking, collecting, and leveling as you would find in most ARPG's. I am surprised at how much I am enjoying the story and it is welcoming to newcomers. I would recommend it to newcomers and definitely to fans of the Dragon Ball Z Universe.
This is a FMV game where you basically watch a movie and make all the choices. The acting was very well done (especially the lead woman playing Erica) and the story was decent, but held it back, because it could have been better. I bought it on sale for $5 and that is a good price for it.
Put simply, it is the best "Diablo clone" that has ever been made.
This is a fairly simple farming game, but it is tremendous. You start with a section of land and there are about 40 more sections to unlock. Every tree, plant, animal, fish, ect. levels as you harvest them and your farmer does as well. You unlock new buildings, fences, walkways, shrubs, and all other manner of things to build on your land to make the farm your own unique place. It is just great to play and listen to music or podcasts in the back round. Highly recommend.
Need for Speed Heat
This is the best Need for Speed since Most Wanted. The driving is what you would expect from NFS, the story is fine, in that it never gets in the way, and the online works well. I think the Day/Night choice is cool. The Day is for circuit racing and the Night is for illegal street racing with cops out to catch you as your Heat Level rises. The collection of cars is good and the graphics are simply stunning.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
The campaign is the best since CoD 4: Modern Warfare. The multiplayer is really, really good with one caveat, the spawn system needs fixing. They have already tried to fix the issue and I am confident they will find a sweet spot in time. Also, the DLC maps and modes being free is a great move.
The Outer Worlds
It is not quite Fallout, but it is very well done and fun to play.
