Rumours have been flying for years, but Sony has finally announced the PlayStation 5's arrival and confirmed a release window of Holiday 2020. We've had our share of fun on the PS4, and thankfully, we'll still get to play all our favorites on Sony's upcoming console with its confirmed backwards compatibility. We're expecting them to look better too, with the PS5's 8K support and Ray Tracing graphics. 

While that's a relief, it's also important to look forwards into the future of the PlayStation 5 and all the games that may come with it. Here's a roundup of the confirmed and rumoured titles for the console so far:

So far, there's only been three games confirmed for the PlayStation 5. Some of them are still visions, while others have been planned out since the beginning. Details about the specs are scarce.

New Bluepoint Game

There isn't a load of information about what kind of game they're making for the PS5. Some say it might be a Demon's Soul remake, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Dying Light 

Already coming on the PlayStation 4, Techland was one of the first games to confirm a cross-gen release on the PlayStation 5. 

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Square Enix CEo, Yosuke Matsuda, has stated that the remake of the classic Final Fantasy entry will be playable on both consoles. However, what form it will take on the PS5 is yet to be determined.

<h3>Rumoured</h3>

When a new consoles, rumours and wishful thinking come alng with them. That's exactly what most games in this list are. Just logical speculation with not much information to substantiate them with. We're not complaining.

Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red's new IP is ambitious even for the PS4, which means it just might be a better fit for the PlayStation 5. It's always been developed with the next gen in mind, but no confirmation has been made.

Death Stranding

Another excellent PS4 title too. Hideo Kojima may not have made any promises. However, PS5 lead architect, Mike Cerny's "smile and pregnant pause" in a <a href="https://www.wired.com/story/exclusive-sony-next-gen-console/">Wired interview</a> has invited speculation.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima's trailer was one of the scene stealers of the E3 so it's no wonder that everyone wants to experience the game to the fullest on the PS5's next gen specs.

The Last of Us: Part 2

The Last of Us was a PlayStation 3 release that was ported to the PlayStation 4. This seems likely for its sequel with a slated release of February 21, 2020 which is months away from the PS5's Holiday window.

Starfield

A new IP from Bethesda, and it's still way early in the development phase. With that in mind, it's logical to assume it'll launch on the PS5. 

The Elder Scrolls VI

Similar to Starfield, the sixth installment to Bethesda's RPG series may also launch on the PS5.

Grand Theft Auto 6

Still wishful thinking. Grand Theft Auto 5 has served us well through the years. However, with the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar may just be free to develop a new installment of the GTA series and the PlayStation 5 seems like the best place to start.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Guerilla Games hasn't made any confirmation, but one of their voice actors accidentally <a href="https://thenextweb.com/gaming/2019/04/12/voice-actor-lets-it-slip-that-horizon-zero-dawn-sequel-is-in-the-works/">spilled the beans </a>on a new sequel. Whether or not it'll arrive on the PS5, we're not entirely sure.

God of War 2

God of War director Cory Balrog has been quoted saying their plans for the next DLC was "too ambitious." If they're gonna planning to add to the God of War experience, it might just be on the PS5.

Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man's last DLC arrived in December 2018, so more content may not be expected on the PlayStation 4. What is highly likely is their preparing something for the arrival of the PlayStation 5 sometime later in 2020. 

Project Awakening

Cygames' take on Western role-playing games is definitely happening but we're not quite sure if it'll launch on the PS4 or the PS5. 

Watch Dogs Legion

Another title that's already set for the PS4. As usual, Ubisoft made no promises. 

Dreams

This Media Molecule title is all about unlocking the imaginations. Already a massive success on the PS4, some sources would say that the Dreams could stand to benefit from a port to the PS5. Either way, Media Molecule promises to support the game through the PS5's launch.

Demons Souls

The rumour side of Bluepoint Games' announcement. There are a lot of people screaming for a remake of this 2009 aRPG and they're expecting Bluepoint to bring it to fruition.

Guerrilla Multiplayer Shooter

Guerrilla Games is the studio behind Horizon Zero Dawn. Though their time may already be spent developing the sequel, talks of the studio rehiring the director of Tom Clancy Rainbow Six: Siege ignited speculation of a multiplayer being made for the PS5 launch. 

Harry Potter RPG

This is kind of a meta-rumor since we only ever had leaks of this rumoured Harry Potter game. Some sources say that if this game were coming, it would probably be on the PS5.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

Slated for a release in 2021, we might be witnessing this new LOTR title on the PS5.

The Playroom 2

The Playroom is something that comes with the PlayStation package. With a new console rolling out, and the dev team already working on demos, the Playroom 2 is a likely result.

Sniper Elite 5

Rebellion has already been reported to be working on a new Sniper Elite title. Now that the PS5 has been announced, it's more than likely that it'll head straight for the new console.

Uncharted 5

With three years since Nathan Drake's last adventure, we're wishing for the next main Uncharted installment to come to Sony's upcoming console.
