EVO 2019 was amazing. Fighting Game Enthusiasts flex their hard-earned skills to climb the ranks and become the champion of various fighting games. This includes major games such as Soul Calibur VI, Samurai Shodown, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat 11 and of course, Tekken 7.
The stage continues to heat up after every major tournament. Proving once again that these players are professionals that continue to step their game up in every season.
However, EVO isn’t all about amazing plays and its fantastic players. Huge video game announcements are expected. Bandai Namco takes the opportunity to share brand new content for their upcoming Season 3. This includes the return of the graceful, yet deadly Zafina, who now has a necrotic arm capable of shredding foes.
In addition to Zafina, a new mysterious and original character, Leroy Smith will also join the Tekken 7 roster. Not much details are revealed about this character and no gameplay so far, but he looks to be a formidable foe with his Wing Chun fighting skills.
Also teased during the Tekken 7 announcement stage was Metal Gear’s Snake, who praised Tekken creator, Katsuhiro Harada, for the epic competition via classic Codec mode. Season Pass 3 will come out on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this winter 2019.
