1. Zombie Army 4: Dead War on PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Zombie games aren’t over just yet. In fact, they’re becoming weirder by the day. Travel back to Europe in 1946 and face the undead hordes of zombie Hitler’s zombie army. Yes, you heard that right.

Team up with your friends in this insane campaign packed with epic weapons, skills, and a handful of upgrades. It’s the kind of game where it is absolutely fun with friends. Nothing beats the satisfaction of taking down an army of living corpses using the power of friendship… and a massive tank. It’s coming this February 4 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

2. Ori And The Will Of The Wisps on PC and Xbox One

Moon Studios’ beloved Metroidvania is back for another emotional adventure ready to tug our heartstrings. In Will of the Wisps, Ori’s journey takes him out from its original magical forest and into uncharted territories in the world beyond.

From what we've seen from all their E3 presentations, it still feels like the same majestic, and challenging platformer. Now, with more nimble movements and a host of new enemies, all of which we’ll see on March 11 as a Microsoft exclusive.

3. NiOh 2

2020 is turning out to be a year of Samurai games with Ghost of Tsushima and Team Ninja’s ‘Nioh’. Like Half-Life Alyx, Nioh 2 is going to be a prequel with a standalone story. Play a customized character that’s part human, part yokai and venture around the new Dark Realms with great Japanese warlords like Hideyoshi.

It’s still essentially a single-player experience. However, the improved multiplayer which allows up to three players will definitely make the Yokai battles that much easier. A PlayStation 4 Exclusive, it’s set to release this May 13, 2020.

4. Doom Eternal on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and Switch

The year 2151 has not been very kind to Planet Earth. Pandemonium is just a regular Tuesday for the legendary Doomguy.

Eternal is a follow-up to id Software’s fresh reboot of the action-packed franchise. Just like their previous entries, the titular badass returns to the fray but now he’s armed to the teeth with an arsenal of powerful weapons. Moving from point A to point B now feels more fleshed out with a handful of movement upgrades. It’s basically just a walk in the park for Doomguy and every Demon’s worst nightmare.

Coming this 20th of March for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, Goggle Stadia, and the Nintendo Switch.

5. Half-Life: Alyx

I guess it’s time to let go of Valve’s elusive Half-Life 3. Although it acts as a prequel, it still, this brand new Half-Life experience could pass as a pseudo-sequel. Meet new and familiar faces in this Virtual Reality sci-fi spectacle.

Unlike their old titles, this is Valve’s most ambitious work to date, considering they’re no longer making enough games lately. As a VR entry, things might not go the way it should, but given Valve’s track record, this whole new story might be something huge for gamers. Coming sometime this March 2020 as a PC Exclusive.

6. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

The age old question finally gets an answer. Bannerlord when? TaleWorlds Entertainment finally brought something more concrete for all of us to hold on to.

Step inside a beautiful Calradia and battle it out using its smooth physics and improved UI. wWith four planned multiplayer modes--including a siege mode; a duel mode; and, a Captains mode that lets you man AI armies as well as your own character--there's enough to distract you from the real world.

We know about their campaigns, factions, siege defenses, and putting our hands on it may either be wonder, or disappointment. Coming out sometime this March 2020.

7. Wasteland 3 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One

The icy hell of post-apocalyptic Colorado isn’t as friendly as it was before in this much-awaited installment by InXile Entertainment to the Wasteland series. Coming a long way since 1998, this fan-funded project wasn’t an easy task. The party-based RPG is stepping up their game with asynchronous multiplayer, solid single-player experience and strategic turn-based gameplay.

That means whether you want a friend, or not, you still get to taste the horrors and atmosphere of this frozen wasteland. The game is slated for a March 2020 release.

8. The Last Of Us II

The adventures of Ellie and Joel continue in this major follow-up to Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic masterpiece. This time around, a mature and hardened Ellie takes center stage.

Survival remains essential in this sequel as Ellie has a wide variety of tools and weapons to fend off the ghastly Clickers and some unwelcome human presence. Compared to the first game’s controls, Ellie has more verticality and can finally jump. As for Joel’s character, not much was shown as of the moment, except for his now grizzled face.

Coming this 29th of May as a PlayStation 4 Exclusive.

9. Halo Infinite on PC, Xbox One, and Series X

Microsoft’s biggest title coming out this year remains quite a mystery as of yet. However, with the upcoming Xbox Series X, there’s a possibility that Master Chief’s latest journey might be a launch title.

In terms of story and gameplay, there's none of that so far. The only thing we know for sure is the return of Master Chief. It's currently slated for a Holiday 2020 release window.

10. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II on the PC and Series X

Ninja Theory’s nordic action-adventure game gets a sequel too. Hellblade. Taking place right after the events of the first game, we now see a vengeful Senua ready to raze hell.

There’s not a lot of info available yet, so we have no idea what the story and gameplay is all about. All we know is that Senua is out for blood. Coming this Holiday 2020 for the PC and Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Series X.

11. Dying Light 2 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Techland may have forgotten their Dead Island games, but they sure know how to keep Dying Light shine. This sequel promises to improve their signature parkour mechanics, which makes for a better traversal experience in its desolate city.

Storywise, player choices will impact the course of the game and aside from a range of gameplay upgrades, you’ll be playing as an infected anti-hero armed with supernatural abilities. It comes out this 2020 on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

12. Watch Dogs: Legion on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and Series X

Hack the planet in this latest Watch Dogs title from Ubisoft. Legion puts the open-world experience to its maximum, taking you into a semi-dystopian London in the midst of a digital warfare.

In Legion, there is no main character because EVERYONE is. Anyone who chooses to take part in the rising revolution is welcome and it’s up to you to recruit them. It's full of technological innovations and it promises variety in terms of its gameplay and hacking.

It’s coming sometime this 2020 for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and the Series X.

13. Yakuza: Like A Dragon

The long-rumored Yakuza title has a name and it’s Demo is currently out in the wilds for you to test out. The eighth mainline entry of the famed Yakuza series, this title is set in the near future and it’s considered as a soft reboot of the series.

It features new characters and a new protagonist far from the likes of Kazuma Kiryu. The gameplay is also shifting to the classic turn-based combat aside from the real-time brawler which is a huge surprise. So far, there are not many details as of the moment. Coming sometime this 2020 as a PlayStation exclusive.

14. Desperados III on PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Featuring a modern real-time tactics gameplay, control a ragtag band of unlikely heroes and heroines as they join forces to challenge a superior foe. Outsmart your enemies and use a wide array of abilities such as infiltration, spying, sabotage, stealing, abduction, and more.

With five unique desperados, use their deadly skills to thin out the enemies. It’s coming out this 2020 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and X1.

15. Little Nightmares II on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

The horrifying puzzle-platformer from Tarsier Studios’ return. However, there is little information we know about the game so far aside from its reveal trailer. One thing’s for sure, we know that Six, the iconic girl with the yellow raincoat, makes a return but she no longer remains playable.

The game’s main character centers around Mono, which was a protagonist from the previous title. This sequel will further explore the harrowing atmosphere of The Maw and what lies beyond this demented dimension. Coming this 2020 for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Switch.

Developed by Hardsuit Labs, This is a follow up to the 2004 cult classic which dates back from the tabletop games of White Wolf publishing
,

Whoever you are, where you're from, and whatever you choose remains a massive part of Vampire's gameplay. Coming out this March 2020 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and X1.

17. Sons Of The Forest

This unexpected sequel from the terrifying survival game, The Forest, will continue with its demon-hunting mission. Revealed during last year’s Game Awards, it’s too early to tell what the game is all about. However, others speculate it will put more emphasis on its story and narrative.

No release date as of the moment, but judging from the trailer, it’s still scary as hell. Coming to the PC sometime this 2020.

18. The Settlers

With the goal of creating a familiar Settlers title while being up to par with today's standards, it's gonna be a nostalgic treat for long time fans. No details yet, sadly
.

Build, explore, and conquer anew once it releases sometime this year.

19. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Quarantine on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Series X

It’s no surprise the Rainbow Six series operates under the same universe. Moving on from their usual door breaching and cover operations, this Rainbow Six title enters horror territory.

Serving as a spin-off to the popular Rainbow Six: Siege, this three-player co-op FPS adds a new element of gameplay to the series. Instead of facing against human enemies, you and your buddies team up to quell a mysterious alien threat. As of now, it still remains a mystery and everything else about the game.

Coming this 2020.

20. Hollow Knight: Silksong on PC and Switch

No release date yet, but it’s expected to be released sometime this 2020 for the PC and the Nintendo Switch.
