One of the games we talked about in our Upcoming Racing Games video. R8 Games' gorgeous anti-gravity racer, PACER, is now set to officially release this September.

Earning comparisons to the iconic racing game, F-Zero, PACER will let you compete in high octane podracing in over 8 different game modes and 14 unique tracks, each of which you can play around in 8 different ways--whether at night, mirrored mode, or reverse.
PACER allows for competitions of up to 10 players in online multiplayer. This definitely works well with one of their prized game modes, Storm, which is inspired by the popular Battle Royale genre.
The campaign mode will see you as a trainee pilot who will be tasked to advance through 10 different race teams in order to be the best racing champion in the world.
To add to that, you'll even get to customize your own craft, choosing from an array of five craft types which you can tune and equip with varying weapons.
After a lengthy stint in early access as "Formula Fusion", it will be refreshing to see witness how much the game has changed since its early development days.
PACER will release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on September 17th.
