CAPCOM’s massive DLC for their best-selling action role-playing game is coming this September 6, 2019 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately for PC users, it might require a bit of waiting we can finally experience the frozen wasteland of the Hoarfrost Reach.

Announced via Monster Hunter World’s twitter page, it looks like CAPCOM made the ‘cool’ (pun intended) decision to delay the game for 4 months in order to deliver an optimized monster hunting experience. Of course, some PC users are not happy about this but also in other news, water is wet.

Tweet announcing Monster Hunter World release date

Just recently, they announced three new monster subspecies with terrifying abilities: The Viper Tobi-Kadachi which uses both Poison and Paralysis to demolish hunters; the Coral Pukei-Pukei, when instead of using poison, gushes out a jetstream of water to incapacitate foes and finally the Nightshade Paolumu with the ability to put even the experienced hunters to sleep with its powerful gas attacks.

Knowing CAPCOM’s good reputation for the past few years, things are going to get really juicy once the expansion arrives. For those who can keep up with the agonizing wait, the developers promised a bigger world, more monster variety, increased difficulty, tons of new customization options AND a continuous stream of DLC’s after it drops.
