<p>The upcoming sci-fi game <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/luna-abyss/" title="Luna Abyss for PC">Luna Abyss</a> revealed its two main characters, <strong>Aylin</strong> and <strong>Fawkes</strong>, in a new trailer ahead of Gamescom 2023. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-series-x/luna-abyss/" title="Luna Abyss for Xbox Series X and S">Luna Abyss</a> is a narrative first-person action-adventure game developed by UK studio <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/bonsai-collective/">Bonsai Collective</a>, set to launch in 2023.</p>

<p>The new trailer provides details on Aylin and Fawkes' roles in the game's story. Aylin acts as the player's guide as they explore the diverse environments of the mimic moon setting. She is the governor of the lunar penal colony taking direction from the mysterious "All-Father."</p> 

<p>Fawkes is the player character, a prisoner incarcerated for having distinctive red eyes. The trailer depicts Fawkes alone and afraid, wanting to simply survive their harsh sentence on the moon. However, the abyss holds secrets for unwary scouts like Fawkes to discover.</p>

The game is being showcased at Gamescom ahead of its 2023 release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series X|S.
