The upcoming sci-fi game Luna Abyss revealed its two main characters, Aylin and Fawkes, in a new trailer ahead of Gamescom 2023. Luna Abyss is a narrative first-person action-adventure game developed by UK studio Bonsai Collective, set to launch in 2023.
The new trailer provides details on Aylin and Fawkes' roles in the game's story. Aylin acts as the player's guide as they explore the diverse environments of the mimic moon setting. She is the governor of the lunar penal colony taking direction from the mysterious "All-Father."
Fawkes is the player character, a prisoner incarcerated for having distinctive red eyes. The trailer depicts Fawkes alone and afraid, wanting to simply survive their harsh sentence on the moon. However, the abyss holds secrets for unwary scouts like Fawkes to discover.
The story is an important part of the Luna Abyss experience that Bonsai Collective have been crafting, so it’s really great to finally be able to put it front and centre....

Luna Abyss will feature first-person platforming, bullet-hell combat, and a rich narrative in a sci-fi world. The game is being showcased at Gamescom ahead of its 2023 release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series X|S. A free demo is currently available on Steam.
