Developer Ultimate Games has announced the release of their game I Am Your President for Xbox One. The developer has confirmed that the upcoming Xbox game will launch on May 8.
I Am Your President is a satirical political survival game where players start out as the newly-elected president of the United States. As president, they will have to fight through a number of crises and raise public support in a bid to get a second term.
All of the events that happen in I Am Your President are told in visual novel-like storytelling. Through this, players talk to people, attend conferences, and even run their own social media.
All the while, the player’s choices will be mapped in a special political compass that tells them whether their policies lean left or right.
I Am Your President first released on PC via Steam in 2023. The game has received mixed reviews.
While some praised the game for its improvements in dialog and gameplay, a few players were disappointed in the lack of policy choices in the game.
