Fulqrum Publishing is gearing up to release HYPERVIOLENT, a sci-fi first-person shooter game. The game will be available for download on popular gaming platforms such as Steam, Epic Games, and GOG.com when it launches on PC Early Access on April 6.
In a press release, Fulqrum said HYPERVIOLENT's Early Access launch contains up to five hours of "blood-soaked" gameplay. The Czech Republic-based publishing house also revealed that the upcoming game's Early Access mode would come in two parts.
At launch, players can experience the game up to five levels. They can also try out four weapons and battle at least three enemies, including one boss. The second update, on the other hand, allows gamers to access two new weapons and four more enemies.
HYPERVIOLENT's Early Access version is only limited to a single-player campaign. Fulcrum, however, confirmed that upon its full release, they would roll out multiplayer modes. These include PvP and co-op options.
HYPERVIOLENT is a sprite-based, 3D shooter game. It takes players to an abandoned, asteroid-based mining colony called Commodus Asteroid 27-C. There, they must seek the answers behind the asteroid colony's mysteries while fighting monsters.
Terminist Arcade, an independent gaming studio, created the game. According to its creators, they take inspiration from classic horror arcade games from the 1990s.
It also contains several elements from iconic horror films in the 1980s. A reference to the Hicks' Hexagon pattern from the Overlook Hotel in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining can be seen in the gameplay preview video.
Fulqrum, formerly known as 1C Entertainment, said that they plan to launch the final version of HYPERVIOLENT within the first half of 2023. / ###
