<p>Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice maintains the core gameplay of the original. It challenges players to manage a steam-powered city in a frozen post-apocalypse. Players must make tough moral choices while gathering resources, developing technology, and ensuring their citizens' survival.</p>

<p>The mobile version features redesigned touch controls and enhanced visuals that showcase the game's detailed snow effects and steampunk architecture.</p>

<p>It also introduces several new features. This includes a multiplayer-focused industry system where players can specialize in Engineering, Agriculture, Technology, Health, or Finance, and trade with other players. A unique seasonal feature adds a competitive element, with monthly rankings based on city development and approval ratings.</p> 

<p>The game also includes new mini-games such as an 18th-century style stock exchange, animal shelters, and a pub with various board games.</p>
