Something is brewing in 2021’s MMORPG market. While Elder Scrolls Online may have stumbled at launch, the developers have been keeping it alive with constant DLC and expansions. One adventure that’s being hyped for the game is Gates of Oblivion, and that story begins with this new expansion called Flames of Ambition.

The update comes with two new dungeons—Black Drake Villa and the Cauldron; Black Drake Villa will have you teaming up with Wood Elf scout Eveli Sharp-Arrow as you attempt to explore an ancient mansion crawling with monster and arsonists; the Cauldron, on the other hand, has you going up against a cult called Waking Flame, and you have to stop them from enslaving the local townsfolk which they’ve forced into an old mine.
A patch called Update 29 is also coming with this expansion, and it includes a variety of in-game improvements like an update on the Champion System as well as different quality-of-life improvements.
