<p>Paradox Interactive and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/triumph-studios/">Triumph Studios</a> announced an upcoming expansion for the fantasy-strategy game <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/age-of-wonders-4/" title="Age of Wonders for PC">Age of Wonders 4</a>. Titled <em>'Empires & Ashes'</em>, this major expansion will launch on November 7, 2023 for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/aow4-empires-ashes/" title="Empires and Ashes expansion for PC">PC</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/aow4-empires-ashes/" title="Empires and Ashes expansion for PS5">PlayStation 5</a>, and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/aow4-empires-ashes/" title="Empires and Ashes for Series X and Series S">Series X|S</a>.</p>

<p>It will retail for $19.99.  Players who purchased the Premium Edition and Expansion Pass will receive Empires & Ashes on launch date.</p>

<p>Empires & Ashes introduces the Reaver culture that drives progress through industry and conquest. It combines magic and technology to develop and deploy powerful war machines.</p>

<p>Players can also unlock the Seals of Power to claim a new kind of victory and control the Astral Sea. Other key inclusions are the Avian physical form, new Tomes of Magic, two new story missions, wildlife units, bear mounts, and six music tracks.</p>

<p>The expansion coincides with the free Golem update that adds an item forge, a rework of the form trait, 25 new events, graphical improvements to sailing and combat, and a new spellbook interface.</p>
