Torn Banner Studios is gearing up for the release of their sequel to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare next month. After Chivalry 2's closed beta, publisher Tripwire Interactive has announced a cross-play open beta. It will be free for anyone to join.

The open beta for Chivalry 2 will be available for free from May 27, 2021 at 11:00am (EDT) to June 1 at 11:00am (EDT). Cross-play will be available on all the platforms the game will be releasing on. This is all prep before the game's launch on June 8.

The crossplay open beta will offer plenty of content like new maps and game modes. Some of its highlights are the newly-added features that weren't available in the closed beta. You'll be able to try out their full character customization, as well as their new server options.

If you want to maximize the open beta, it’s available for pre-download across all the platforms on May 26.
