While twin-stick shooters aren’t really that big with the mainstream, the genre still manages to be fun and best played in groups. Just in, we have a new title called Tacticool Champs from Awesome Industries which feels like a mash-up of Team Fortress 2 and Super Bomberman.

In Tacticool Champs, players get to choose between 10 unique characters as they duke it out in these Bomberman-type square arenas. You have 18 weapons to choose from and a choice between 10 arenas and 60 different types of blocks.
What’s great is, the game also comes with a version where you can play online with others, or offline with guests on your couch. Single players can also opt to have bot matches (which is probably best since we’re all under self-quarantine right now); and there’s also an in-game arena editor just in case you want to exercise your creativity by crafting your own unique death arena.
The game actually looks pretty fun, but we don’t know too much of it yet. With release set for later this year though, hopefully we get a trailer drop with more information and a rundown of the different game modes we can expect with Tacticool Champs.
Tacticool Champs will be available on the Xbox One and PS4 in the second quarter of 2020, but it's also coming soon to the Nintendo Switch version on the fourth quarter of the same year.
