CD Projekt Red’s standalone online card game, Gwent, is coming to the iOS!

As expected, CD Projekt Red’s standalone and free to play title Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, is set to release on the iOS next month. Fans have been demanding a mobile version since its release on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One last year.

Fans are once again entering the Witcher Universe limited only to their card-forms. Notable characters from the book and the video games make an appearance with their own unique card abilities and animations. Cast spells, clash with kings, and construct the most powerful deck no faction can dominate in the battlefield.

In this mobile version, CD Projekt Red combines the full feature of the PC and console versions with reimagined UI dedicated for touch controls. In terms of progress, players won’t have to worry about anything as any purchases are shared between their iOS and GOG accounts. So switching platforms anytime is no big deal. However, console players will not be able to enjoy this feature as of the moment.

As per iPhone support, CD Projekt Red’s Gwent only supports devices iPhone 6S or newer, iPad Mini 4 and newer, iPad 5th Generation and newer, iPad Air 2 and newer and all other iPad Pro devices. In addition, powerful iOS devices can play the game with its built-in 4K textures.

Eager new players can pre-order Starter Packs and other faction Kegs necessary for early-game deck-building.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is available in the App Store this October 29, 2019.
