<p>In a world overtaken by the mysterious ‘Zero,’ this masked figure created a twisted game about survival. As an act of defiance, teenagers rebel and form a resistance, using Extreme Baseball to challenge the tyrants.</p> 

<p>Gameplay involves a mix of exploration, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/best/strategy/">strategy</a> and fast-paced combat. It does not share Danganronpa’s visual novel style format. Instead, players can navigate through HD-2D reconstructions of iconic Tokyo locales, uncover hidden treasures, solve puzzles, and assist the city’s inhabitants.</p>

<p>Unlike Danganronpa’s linear exploration, each district in TRIBE NINE is rife with opportunities for discovery. Exploration is highly encouraged during downtime.</p> 

<p>Building a party of three unique characters, players engage in dynamic 3D battles where ally units act independently, performing actions like healing, crowd control, and setting up combo attacks. Like all Gacha games, all characters can be leveled up. The pace of progression depends whether players prefer spending real-life money or grinding for extra resources.</p>

<p>TRIBE NINE is an original IP developed by Too Kyo Games, led by Kazutaka Kodaka of Danganronpa, their most popular franchise ever. Aside from the game, the TRIBE NINE universe has expanded into other media, including an anime series and a WEBTOON comic.</p>

<p>Players who pre-register will unlock exclusive in-game rewards upon the game’s official release, including a limited character skin and essential starter supplies. More details on these rewards are available on the game’s official website.</p>

<p>TRIBE NINE will be available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Players can start pre-registering to prepare themselves for the inevitable extreme games. The game will also be available on Steam for PC users. No release date yet.</p>

<p>It also features music composed by Montreal-based duo Milk & Bone, who have played a pivotal role in creating the game’s soundtrack. Their first appearance in a DON’T NOD game was with <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/life-is-strange-2/">Life Is Strange 2</a>’s Episode 3 titled “Natalie.” Fans can look forward to the release of Milk & Bone’s new single, “FORGONE,” on December 6, 2024. The track will be part of the game’s licensed soundtrack, alongside other compositions.</p>

<p>Lost Records: Bloom & Rage’s story is wrapped in question marks. On paper, it is a story-rich adventure about four high school girls who forge deep friendships over a summer in the 90s. Little did they know everything can change in just one night.</p>

<p>Players are invited to unravel their fragmented memories and explore the supernatural mysteries surrounding the Abyss, a supernatural void that could transform the lives of protagonists Swann and her friends.</p>

<p>Like DON’T NOD’s <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/life-is-strange/">Life Is Strange</a>, gameplay involves exploration and talking to NPCs in third-person. The recent gameplay preview showcased Swann as the playable character. She can interact with her friends and take videos/photos using her trusty camera.</p> 

<p>Choices will also play a deeper role in Lost Records. Throughout both chapters, players will be met with tough decisions that can impact the game’s ending. Forging relationships between each of its four characters are essential.</p>

<p>In collaboration with Maximum Entertainment, a physical edition of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage for PlayStation 5 will be available in Summer 2025. Preorders for this edition are now open through participating retailers.</p>

Dante’s Ring: A New Action-Adventure RPG Embracing a Non-Combat Approach

<p>MY.GAMES has announced the first-ever console playtest for its multiplayer mech shooter, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/war-robots-frontiers/">War Robots: Frontiers</a>.</p>

<p>Starting today and running through December 4, the playtest will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The game is scheduled for full release in early 2025. It will join other great <a href="https://whatoplay.com/post/upcoming-2025/">upcoming titles scheduled for release in 2025</a>.</p>

<p>The playtest will offer three maps for players to enjoy: the burning refinery Catalyst, the towering industrial complex Fissure, and the sprawling urban battlefield Spectrum. Players can engage in three game modes, including Warp Rush, where teams capture and hold strategic points; Team Deathmatch, a classic elimination mode; and Last Robot Standing, a high-stakes battle for survival.</p>

<p>War Robots: Frontiers is a <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/best/multiplayer/">multiplayer</a> mech game and it is the closest thing players have for an Armored Core and Gundam experience.</p> 

<p>It transports players to the Wild Ten, a newly discovered planetary system embroiled in a cold war between three megacorporations. As mercenary Robot Pilots, players engage in intense 6v6 battles, building a garage of five customizable war machines.</p> 

<p>With over 60 robot parts, 20 weapons, and three Titan-class heavy mechs, players can tailor their machines to fit various roles such as defenders, flankers, or assault units. Special modules like missile launchers and smoke screens add further strategic depth.</p>

<p>With every competitive multiplayer game, teamwork is key. This unlocks additional tactical options and allows players to deploy Titan-class mechs capable of turning the tide of battle. With limited respawns, strategic deployment of resources is crucial, requiring players to adapt to the mission and team dynamics. It is not just about going gung-ho.</p>

<p>War Robots: Frontiers is currently available to play on <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/1491000/War_Robots_Frontiers/">Steam</a> as part of their Early Access.</p>
