We Were Here Too

After completing We Were Here Too, I couldn't help but wonder if it took the series anywhere new, or whether it could have simply been classed as an expansion to the first. In the end, what I wanted from this title was more; I wanted to do more puzzles in this world, in this unique way, and that’s exactly what We Were Here Too delivers on. The first game was free-to-play but this one isn’t — and if charging a fee is how we get more from this series then that’s alright with me.

Communication is once again key in this well-crafted puzzle-adventure. New tests are on offer for players to solve together, and additional story bits whet the appetite for future chapters. While the content certainly feels light after a first playthrough, the ability to play both sides allows for new experiences, not to mention new puzzle configurations to work out with a friend or online stranger.

We Were Here Too is geen verkeerd spel. Wanneer je eenmaal begrijpt wat je moet doen is het een toffe puzzelervaring die gaaf is om eens mee te maken. Wel is het jammer dat het spel zelf vrij weinig user feedback geeft. We Were Here Too is uiteindelijk één grote beproeving voor jou en je vrienden. Je voelt bijna de spanning van een echte escape room! Je speelt het spel één keer want daarna is je tweede playsessie jammer genoeg al wel volledig duidelijk.
