In 2013, the U.S. Army will implement the Integrated Warfighter System evolving what we know as the modern soldier. IWS combines advanced weapon systems, satellite communication devices and enhanced survivability into one fully integrated combat system. The IWS program has been developed to meet these new threats head on. Now, it can be tested on the battlefield.

In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3, players will embody Captain Scott Mitchell as he commands the Ghosts and Special Forces allies equipped with the IWS in the quest to save the president of the United States, recover stolen nuclear codes and eliminate a vicious band of renegade soldiers hell-bent on unleashing catastrophe. The game unfolds entirely in Mexico City, where numerous, meticulously researched and detailed environments will deliver complete immersion into the future of urban warfare.

When you consider the overall package, GRAW for the PC just isn't as balanced and refined as it ought to be. If your computer has the necessary horsepower, and you're looking for a hardcore, tactical shooter experience, you'll have a grand time with GRAW's campaign. If you're fiending for some multiplayer shooter action, though, you'll probably be better off staying away from this one until a patch resolves the existing online issues.

Without question, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter compels you through each level, thanks to a primal-feeling plot, tons of options for executing your missions and a tremendously tweakable multiplayer component.

After playing the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games on the Xbox, it's clear that multiplayer is about a billion times more fun with voice over IP technology. Its absence here is disappointing but nowhere near the letdown of not having more online game modes.
