Slow Down, Bull is an action collecting game about a stressed out, overachiever bull who just wants to make beautiful art. Help steer Esteban through a beautiful schoolcraft art world to collect as many crafty pieces as you can, but be careful! Every time you steer him, he gets a little more stressed out, and you DON’T want to stress him out!

Run and bounce around levels in 5 different areas, avoid knocking over hapless denizens, don’t get caught by Annette the Bullcatcher, and above all, keep your cool! Meet new critter friends to help Esteban achieve his dreams of being the best he can possibly be. Replay levels to improve your scores!

In the end, Slow Down, Bull is a game that has been created for a very worthy cause, though it’s difficult to recommend it outside of the charitable donation that will come with purchasing it. Its poor level design makes way for forced difficulty, and aside from its colorful, welcoming art style it is an altogether forgettable experience. Insomniac will no doubt return to the PC in the future, and when they do they’ll hopefully have something more substantial up their sleeves.

Despite some nagging issues, Slow Down, Bull is charming, with plenty of good messages to share for the whole family. ...It's fair to say that the game would sit well with children or parents looking for a game with a cheerful nature and some worthwhile advice--though some of the more difficult stages do tarnish the theme. Still, Slow Down, Bull is a mildly entertaining little adventure, worth a look if only to help support a good cause. And that's something of which I feel Esteban would calmly approve.

Slow Down, Bull is carried by the level design, keeping a constant mixture of larger open areas to have to guess where to bounce to gather everything, and tight corridors where small turns are needed just to prevent yourself from landing on top of obstacles. There is a childlike charm to every pore of Slow Down, Bull that carries itself in its presentation.
