Summary

Tikiman the Forest Defender is in trouble. Hordes of monsters are sweeping through his realm, hoping to chow down on his offspring – and it’s up to you to defend them. By placing weapon towers at strategic points around the landscape, you can destroy the invaders and save the little ones. Collect treasure along the way to build up your arsenal and pay for new towers – countless waves of monsters are out to get the Tiki babies, so you need to be prepared to fight hard!

Innovation is not enough to breed reinvention. Execution is a much-needed tool in any game maker's pocket. Q-Games has shown it has the ability to do this. PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate does not show this, though, instead revealing a lot of great ideas bogged down by a lot of the same old, same old, and an inflated sense of difficulty. Hopefully, it will explore tower defence more over at Q-Games, and find the magic it is capable of.

Double Eleven firma una gran conversión de uno de los mejores juegos de Defensa de Torres del mercado. La jugabilidad que ofrece el título es magnífica y atrapa en cuestión de minutos, a lo que se añade una extensión muy prolongada, modo cooperativo y vistosos gráficos. Si ya jugasteis a los originales no vais a encontrar prácticamente nada nuevo, pero si no es el caso, se trata de un título que se adapta bien a las características de la consola.
