The bottom line is, if you like the Neptunia series already, you know Megadimension Neptunia VII is for you. However, if you don't have a higher-end PC, you may want to wait a bit on this purchase as it can be distracting to play with the frame drops and other performance issues. If you aren't a fan, there's really not much for you here, as this NepNep is far too similar to the entries that came before it.

Megadimension Neptunia VII doesn't really feel like it's taken any opportunity to improve on so many years of characters, story, and development, and it seems more than content to play just like the same game it's been since 2010. It's charming for a little while, but once the jokes and jabs at the industry start to feel reused, and the combat fails to provide anything new, the experience ends up feeling dull and more than a little cheesy.
