Imprint-X isn’t brilliant; it gets repetitive fairly quickly and hasn’t got the widest array of things to do. While I wish there was more depth to the gameplay, as a casual game, there’s enough here to pass a few minutes at a time – and it really packs a punch visually. If you want a quick blast of escapism with a bit of a challenge, then this what you’ll get. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you like puzzle games and brain teasers, imprint-x is absolutely for you. I would even go so far as to say that if you have friends who enjoy physical puzzle boxes but don’t stray too far into the digital realm, this could be the game that gets them hooked. So do your part and delve deep into the subconscious, ridding minds of their Wardens and bringing peace to your patients. Imprint-x is definitely worth a buy.
Imprint-X is a strikingly good puzzle game with a great central mechanic that is well executed in a huge variety of different ways so that it never gets stale. The soundtrack compliments the aesthetic perfectly, and I could honestly lose myself in the puzzles of imprint-X for hours at a time.
