Reason for my low rating is mostly because I suck at survival games. It has great graphics and the story is very well done even though I didn't make it past 50 days before my city went into anarchy. Your success in the game is measured by the amount of hope the people have in your leadership skills. You have to provide shelter, heating and food while gathering the resources needed for it which is very difficult. Manpower is also very difficult to gain and most of the Laws you have to provide feels like a lose-lose situation. Overall despite my lack of skill in governing this is still a pretty good game. If I was better at it I would give it a higher rating.

Frostpunk, for me, is a new take on the Survival-Strategy game. It's difficult, to be honest, I got banished as a captain quite a lot, but that doesn't mean it's not fun to play. It's UI is probably one of the best for an Indie game. Also, it's voice over are on point! And don't forget about that super-hype intro with heavy metal music! *Goosebumps*

a unique and creative Survival Genre, combining the needs to survive, city management, and you really have to make a hard choice, that's what a leader suppose to do, build your city to your people needs, venture outside to the white Earth to find another people survive the icy world, it worth your money, really.. just play it, and forget the reality you knew..

Rarely does an interactive experience keep me awake at night wrestling with big decisions. Frostpunk did this on multiple occasions and made me feel squeamish when forcing edicts upon society instead of building consensus. Extraordinary circumstances call for desperate measures, and all I can do is ask for forgiveness from those trampled by my headstrong approach.

Frostpunk is a challenging city builder where your decisions have dramatic repercussions on the citizens you’re tasked with looking after in a wintery apocalypse. It's a pleasant surprise that is definitely worth your time if you’re looking for something different and brutally challenging.

If doom and gloom isn't your thing then Frostpunk won't appeal and you're better off with a less misery-drenched city-builder such as the excellent Cities: Skylines. But if you're a sucker for the punishing post-apocalyptic (and this game can certainly dish it out) then Frostpunk's bleak winter wonderland will keep you hooked, turning you into a horrible, horrible person in the process.
