The best Tactical game i have ever played. The art is very good, it gives the game a feel to it i cant explain.
If you really enjoy and are really good at strategy games then you'll most likely enjoy this game. Each character has a set amount of resources that is meant to help you either take out or get around the enemy NPCs which make it very challenging no matter what difficulty setting you play on. Completing all the challenges on every level will take multiple playthroughs unless you looked at ways to complete them beforehand. Stealth is essential in this game but if you have no choice but to go in loud then make sure you have enough bullets or a great hiding spot if the alarm gets triggered.
Never played any game prior to this series but this one is gold! Great story and gameplay mechanics!

Desperados 3 is about 30 hours from start to finish (depending on how you play) and graphically it looks beautiful. The mix of stealth and puzzle elements keep the gameplay fresh and exciting. While those who are looking for something a bit faster paced might be disappointed, it’s hard to argue with the satisfaction you feel when you drop a boulder on two unsuspecting thugs below.
Joking aside, I would definitely consider myself a relatively casual tactics fan. So, I would hesitate to say Desperados 3 pushes the genre forward because I honestly don’t know if it does. That said, everything it does, it does incredibly well. Whether you’re looking to hop into stealth tactics for the first time or you’re an old pro, I would wholeheartedly recommend you check out Desperados 3. It is, without question, one of the best games I’ve played all year.
Desperados III provides for around 25-30 hours of gameplay. Admittedly, some of that will be replaying sections of maps after your initial plans don’t work out. The reasonably clever AI certainly makes things interesting. If they discover you sneaking around or notice a comrade slumped on the floor, they will investigate and will often call for backup.
