Danganronpa is one of the best story-driven games on PC. The scarcity of interaction, vast quantities of text, and glacial pace will turn a lot of people off, but the story is so compelling that I barely noticed that all I was doing was clicking through lines of dialogue. Monokuma is a deliciously evil villain and the crimes are brilliantly constructed.
Much of what Danganronpa is trying to do in terms of storytelling and character empathy is well ahead of other much better known games, which continue to use only the bluntest and most obvious tools to make you care about their stories. In Danganronpa you not only feel grief at the death of a simple collection of pixels but it has you sympathising with killers and plotting bloody murder against relative innocents.
