Summary

Borderlands 2 is a hybrid First-Person Shooter, RPG game focused on over-the-top co-op play, and set in the open-world game environment of the planet Pandora. The second game in the game series, Borderlands 2 raises the 'loot and shoot' action of the original game with an even larger and more detailed world to explore, an updated gun system, a new cast of characters and character classes, and integration of storyline with action.

Borderlands 2 has high replay value. There's a wide area to explore and thousands of different loadout. The issue I have is that, after a while, it kinda gets repetitive. It's a definite must-have for quick fun... not much more.

Lots of guns. Interesting story. Hours of fun. Nonstop shooting action.

Only downside is some repetitive mission elements of some missions. Still a great game

Borderlands 2 is everything that the first Borderlands had but with added steroids. This game will drain hundreds of hours of your time as you collect loot, customize your very own build, raiding with friends and completing every side quests from the main game and DLCs.

Despite the numerous bugs and imbalanced/overpowered vault hunters (Salvador), Borderlands 2 still beats every looter-shooter out there. Hell, I even enjoy this game way more than Destiny 1 and 2.

If you are looking for a great looter-shooter to play solo or coop, this is it.

Borderlands 2 is worth playing if you've played the original title or not. In almost every sense it's a superior title to the original - even if I find myself wishing it had done more. Ultimately, it has left me hungry for more - which is probably a testament to how potent a formula this is.

Everything that was great about the original Borderlands has been amplified and improved to make Borderlands 2 more focused, more satisfying, and utterly hilarious. Whether you're playing alone or with friends, the brash outlandish attitude will keep a smile on your face, and as soon as you're done, you'll want to instantly start another character and do it all again.

The problem with Borderlands 2 is that it’s just more Borderlands. Normally I don’t criticize something because it didn’t go out of its safe zone, but having played close to 100 hours of the first game and with very few changes outside some AI behaviours and environments, it makes the sequel feel less special than it should be. That said, I do love Borderlands, and if you’re looking for more of the same, you’ve come to the right place.
