The game takes place in a 2D pixel/retro style top down hellish environment filled with fire, lava, thorns and traps. The player plays as the spirit of Jesus Christ and you must collect keys to unlock prison gates, destroy demons and avoid traps and fire to find the exit before time runs out. The aim is to collect as many souls as you can to destroy the 'Altars' which contains the keys to escape each level, so that you can get to the end to defeat the evil one.
