The PlayStation 5 is set to come out later this year, and the reveal had come with an announcement of a bunch of games, one of them being Insomniac’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. While we don’t have a release date for the game yet, Sony has decided to give us a look at the box art for the highly-anticipated game.

As you can see, Insomniac is deciding to go minimalist with the cover, with Miles posing in front of a plain dark background. When you look at the first Spider-Man game, it simply has Spidey poised in front of a red wall. Miles can be seen using his ‘stinger’ power in the cover; and the faded look of his feet may pass for his invisibility powers.

With some wondering where Peter Parker has gone, it’s worth noting that Miles Morales will serve as a spinoff of the Spider-Man franchise. Though Miles is getting his own game, the main story with Peter Parker is still very much in the works.
After the first game, we still have a lot of villains to go through, from Green Goblin to Venom. Let’s just hope that Insomniac is going to give Miles his own flavor of gameplay to set him aside from Peter’s franchise.
