Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, the fifth entry in City Interactive's tactical shooting series, has been stamped with an official global release date for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 22, 2019. This release date announcement came hand in hand with a new trailer that juxtaposes verses from the Hebrew bible with shots of eliminated targets. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts hopes to offer a step to their sniping experience with more realism in terms of sniping, stealth, and tactics. It brands itself as a return to form with a new region and a whole arsenal of new tools to use in their various missions. These include a Dynamic Reticle system, pilotable Scout Drones, integrated binoculars, special bullets, and an Augment Reality mask.
Hopefully for the series this will be an actual return to form. Their previous title, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, was released on the PC and consoles in 2017 and received its highest PlayScore of 6.65 on the PlayStation 4. Far away from the top spots of the Best PS4 Games list.
