CAPCOM’s best-game ever gets even bigger with the addition of the upcoming Iceborne expansion.

After a year and a half of release, Monster Hunter: World, available on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, is still getting enough traction and the numbers grow larger by the day. With 13 million units shipped worldwide, both digital and physical, the game is just getting started.

The Iceborne DLC introduces a whole new location for hunters to explore, the Hoarfrost Reach. This frozen wildlands is home to new and ferocious monsters that will destroy new hunters within seconds. Fan-favorite monsters of the series including the Tigrex and Nargacuga were announced months prior to this update.

Considered as the G-Rank (the hardest difficulty) of Monster Hunter: World, players must ready themselves to fend off powerful beasts. That includes the Glavenus, Brachydios, Ebony Odogaron and Fulgur Anjanath.

These four new monsters will prove challenging for new and old hunters, especially the bladed-tail Glavenus and the poison-coated Brachydios.

These are but one of the many surprises Iceborne has in store for the Monster Hunter World fans. More will be revealed in the coming days so stay tuned for more info.

Monster Hunter: World Iceborn is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this September 6, 2019. Unfortunately, PC players might have to wait a bit longer for their ‘Winter’ release.
