When Marvel's Avengers was first announced, it looked like it had the whole roster of heroes, but one missing character remained to be Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye. With the recent ‘war table’ though, it’s been announced that Hawkeye is coming to the game after all, but he’s going to be DLC.

We don’t have any full details on how Hawkeye plays yet, but with each hero having a specific skillset, the expectation is that Clint will have his own specific set of skills.
Square is also giving us a look at their upcoming BETA which will give players a good feel into the world of their Avengers game. You’ll be able to play the opening sequence which culminates into a fight with Taskmaster, plus you’ll have a number of missions to try out with different heroes.
What’s more, achievements you get in the BETA will carry over to the actual game when it’s released, so make sure to try and get as many upgrades as you can.

Avengers: A-Day BETA will be available for all on Aug. 21–23, but you’ll be able to pre-load it on Aug. 20. The full game launches on Sept. 4.
