Guardian Chronicle Comes to Steam Early Access

South Korean studio LINE Games has been in charge of mobile hits like Exos Heroes and Buried Stars, and they’re next cross-platform game has just entered Early Access for Steam.

Check out Guardian Chronicle:

Guardian Chronicle is set with a deck of one Master and five Guardians, each geared with unique skillset and matching synergies, to defeat incoming waves of enemies. Players will upgrade their decks as they experiment with various combinations and characters’ strategic locations in the battlefield.

Like I said, the game is cross-platform, and you can check out Guardian Chronicle on mobile as well as PC. Latest updates to the game have also improved the matchmaking system for faster gameplay, and the studio has also added six new Masters. It also goes without saying that current characters have been tweaked for better balance after feedback from players.

Guardian Chronicle will allow you to play competitive or co-op mode. Co-op mode will let you team-up with other players to help beat the odds together, while competitive will have two players trying to outsmart each other, sending opponents to the other’s battlefield.

The game is now available across 140 countries around Europe, Canada, and Australia. There are also plans to expand to the US and Asia soon.

As most tower defense games go, Guardian Chronicle really has that anime-fantasy aesthetic down, and a lot of the characters look great. Hopefully LINE is ready to give this more updates as the player base grows in time.

Guardian Chronicle is now available to download on the app store as well as PC on Steam.
